THE UNWRITTEN RULE

Nip into the Pub at Letheringsett for a cheeky drink and a packet of crisps.

🏃‍♀️ THE RUN 🏃‍♂️

This route explores Spout Hill just outside Holt. It’s name comes from the many natural springs💦 that are found here. It’s a mixture of open grassland 🌿and footpaths through woodland🌳 and fields. The final 1km is unfortunately up the main road but there is a pavement set back from the traffic most of the way.

🚶‍♂️ THE SLOWER OPTION🚶‍♀️

Avg. Time to walk it · about 50 mins

At the start of the route there is a pond fed by a nearby stream 🦆- Its a beautiful spot to roam and relax🌿.

At about 3km, the Kings Head Pub in Letheringsett is a lovely stop off for those wanting to refuel🍷 🍽️ 🍺.

Why not try check out Letheringsett Water Mill (just before the pub) - the last remaining watermill in Norfolk to produce flour. There’s a tearoom with cakes 🍰 🧁.

THE PRACTICALS

𓃦 The Doggy verdict: The first 3km is doggy paradise. The last 1km is a main road so a bi less doggy friendly.
