πββοΈ THE RUN πββοΈ
This route explores the rolling countryside of Bayfield Estate and the river Glaven πΏ.
The first half is a gradual uphill mainly on sheltered woodland tracksπ³.
The second half has more of an open feel to it as it drifts gradually downhill across fields π and along the river bank.
Itβs a peaceful loop showcasing all the shades of green. From ferns and trees to grassy fields and algae on the river - itβs the most calming colour going.
πΆββοΈ THE SLOWER OPTIONπΆββοΈ
Avg. time to walk Β· about 1hr 10 mins
Just after half way, tucked next to the river Glaven, youβll find βNatural Surroundingsβ - A cute plant nursery with gardens and a cafe. Itβs a lovely spot for a pause π»πΈπ·.
During the end of the Summer season, this is one of the best Blackberry foraging spots.
Curious about the oldest purpose-built museum in Norfolk? Pay a visit to the Shell Museum in Glanford. Only open a few hours a week, its tiny, quirky and full of shellsπ.
