🏃‍♀️ THE RUN 🏃‍♂️

This route is a social 10 km hosted by the National Trust at Blickling estate🌱. One of the Trust10 collection. Its free and held on the last Sunday of every month.

People meet at 9.20 am to start soon after. There are no time pressures and directions are explained at the start.

The run starts at the white gated entrance near the car park. It takes a 3km loop around the park (familiar paths for those that do the Saturday park run here). The last 7km are along the side of the lake and through the woods🌲.

There’s a few ups and downs, with a noticeable hill at about half way.

Its a lovely run around some of Blickling Parks most beautiful trails - Changing terrain that works well at a relaxed chatty pace.

🚶‍♂️ THE SLOWER OPTION🚶‍♀️

Avg. Time to walk · about 2 hrs

Set in 5,000 acres of parkland - Blickling Estate is made for strolling🌸. Take a short detour to check out the Pyramid shaped Mausoleum - once the tomb of John Hobart the 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire. Then grab a well earned drink🍺 and a bite to eat at the nearby cafe or Pub (they do a Sunday Roast!)🍽️.
